Project EDGE

Project EDGE — LUMOS NIX 100 Builder Program

Lumos is now opening applications for the “Project EDGE — LUMOS NIX 100 Co-Creation Program” to global universities, robotics labs, builders, and creative technology teams.

We hope to collaborate with global partners to explore new possibilities in embodied AI, dynamic motion control, and real-world human-robot interaction, driving continuous breakthroughs in humanoid robotics research, development, and innovative applications.

Core Platform Specs

Core Platform Specs

Compute Platform

RK3588 onboard compute platform~6 TOPS NPU compute for:

  • Real-time inference
  • State estimation
  • Motion scheduling
  • Safety monitoring

Large-scale training and foundation models can be extended through external compute infrastructure.

Actuation System

Powered by Lumos P60 Serieshigh-speed actuators.

  • Peak rotational speed: 160 RPM (at 48V)
  • Peak joint torque: 102 N·m

Built for dynamic whole-body motion and high-speed actuation control.

Expansion Interfaces

  • Ethernet (RJ45)

Designed for developer access, external compute connection, and hardware extensibility.

Full-Stack Open SDK

Features clean and intuitive C++ and Python SDKs that deeply abstract the underlying hardware. The SDKs fully support both languages with rich, ready-to-run code examples and best practices, designed to help researchers and developers ramp up quickly and seamlessly bridge the gap from algorithm validation to real-world deployment.
