Innovation

  • Built from Real-World Applications. Redefining the Path to Embodied AI.

Achieving general-purpose embodied AI requires overcoming one of the industry’s greatest challenges: the scarcity of real-world robot data. Lumos Robotics is addressing this challenge by deploying robots first in structured industrial environments. Through real work in real-world applications, our robots continuously generate high-quality operational data, creating a scalable data flywheel that accelerates the path toward general-purpose embodied intelligence.

  • Scalability: Building a Data–Model–Application Closed-Loop Foundation

High-quality training data is the foundation of models with strong generalization capabilities. For diverse industrial applications, Lumos Robotics has developed the proprietary Lumos NexCore Physical AI Engine. The engine combines World Models with Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models through joint training, enhanced by industrial vision attention optimization, a late-fusion architecture, and a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) network.

  • Scaling from Real-World Applications to General-Purpose Solutions

Lumos Robotics has developed a full-stack portfolio of robotic platforms—including the full-size humanoid robot Lumos LUS, the heavy-duty wheeled dual-arm robot Lumos MOS, and core joint modules. Through end-to-end in-house development and rigorous BOM optimization, we significantly reduce hardware costs, enabling scalable deployment across industrial applications.

  • An Endgame Vision for Industrial Leadership

As embodied AI enters the era of mass production and large-scale deployment, strategic partnerships with industry leaders, real commercial deployments, and validated application scenarios have become the defining competitive advantages. Through joint innovation labs with Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders, as well as the co-development of flexible manufacturing applications, Lumos Robotics continues to strengthen its foundation for long-term industrial growth.

Business

  • Full-Stack Integration: A Data–Model–Application Closed-Loop System

On the data side, Lumos Robotics has pioneered a robot-free data collection approach to generate high-quality training data, enabling robots to continuously learn from real-world environments. On the hardware side, we develop our full technology stack in-house and leverage rigorous engineering and BOM optimization to reduce hardware costs and accelerate scalable deployment.

  • AI Models & Algorithms: The Core Engine for Industrial Embodied AI

Built for industrial applications, the proprietary Lumos NexCore Physical AI Engine integrates World Models and Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models through joint training. Enhanced with industrial vision attention optimization, a late-fusion architecture, and a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) network, it delivers high-precision motion, physical safety, and robust performance across complex real-world environments.

  • Customer-Centric: From Single Applications to Cross-Industry Scale

Lumos Robotics works closely with leading industrial enterprises, embedding its technologies into real-world production environments. Starting with highly reliable solutions for specific industrial applications, we are building a scalable foundation for broader embodied AI adoption. Beyond Mitsubishi Electric, Lumos has established deep partnerships with industry leaders including COSCO SHIPPING, Damon Technology, and Guangyun Group.
